Eine Lochkamera mit 100 verdunkelten Lochblenden fotografiert die Sonne über einen Tag hinweg. Alle 8 Minuten erfolgt eine zwei Sekunden lange Belichtung, die je 100 Punkte ergibt: Jeder Punkt zeigt ein negatives Abbild der Sonne. So vervielfältigen sich im Laufe des Tages im Innern der Lochkamera die Sonnen und fügen sich zu gepunkteten Sonnenbahnen, die sich schneiden und rhythmisch übers Blatt schwingen. Jedes Blatt enthält an die 6000 Sonnenabbilder.

A pinhole camera with 100 darkened pinholes captures the sun over the course of a day. Only the dazzling sun blackens the photographic paper with its dot-shaped image. The exposures, taken at 8-minute intervals, result in 100 dots each: each dot shows a negative image of the sun. As the day progresses, the suns multiply inside the camera and join together to form dotted paths that intersect and swing rhythmically across the paper. Each sheet contains about 6000 images of the sun.
